Perla Verde (WS-9248)

Larger honeydew variety with excellent uniformity. Nice round shape and size, and has a more dense flesh and more to go towards each melon’s final weight, with average fruit sizes of 5s and 6s, about 8 pounds per. Combined with its large size, you still get all the best beauty and taste possible in a honeydew: vibrant pale green flesh, optimal sweetness, and pearly-smooth rinds. Brix ranges around 15%. These melons grow on vines that are quite strong and fast-growing, and that show good resistance to powdery mildew to make sure you have a successful harvest.
